What a guest gets

One page with the details, and a reply form that takes seconds. Guests answer yes, maybe or no, say how many people they are bringing, add dietary needs, a note, and answers to whatever the host asked. No sign-up, no app download. Every guest gets an edit link so plans can change without emailing the host, and an add-to-calendar link so the date actually lands in their calendar.

What a host gets

A private manage page behind a secret link, holding everything the event needs:

• The full guest list, with a live yes / maybe / no summary and CSV export.
• Email invitations with per-guest status, nudges, and automatic 24-hour reminders.
• A waitlist that promotes guests automatically — and emails them — when spots open.
• Day-of check-in with per-guest QR codes, so the door is a tap rather than a list.
• Date polls to find a time, potluck sign-ups, song requests, and a shared photo album.
• Broadcast messages to the guests who said yes, plus cancellation notices if plans fall through.

Public and private events

An event is public or private, and either can be gated behind an invite code. Public events appear in the JoinMe directory and in search results; private events are reachable only by the link the host shares and are kept out of search indexes, and a gated event withholds its details until the invite code is entered. Host manage links and guest edit links carry a secret token, so they are never indexed and never sent as a referrer.

How it is built

JoinMe is a React and TypeScript app built on TanStack Start, server-rendered at the edge on Cloudflare Workers. Event and RSVP data lives in Cloudflare D1, images in Cloudflare R2, and email goes out through Cloudflare Email Service from no-reply@joinme.rsvp. It is built and run by Waveform Apps.

What it costs

Nothing. JoinMe is free for everyone — there is no paid tier and no payment step, and it does not sell tickets or handle money on a host’s behalf.
